Advanced Emergency Call.

In your new BMW ActiveHybrid 3 you can rely on an extensive range of safety devices. Nevertheless something unforeseeable can always happen. And the Advanced Emergency Call from BMW Assist is available so that you receive help as soon as possible.

Crash sensors in your new BMW ActiveHybrid 3 automatically trigger an emergency call via an accident-proof telephone unit permanently installed in the vehicle, which immediately reaches the BMW Assist Call Centre – independently of your mobile phone. A call-centre agent then establishes contact directly and enquires about the condition of the occupants. The same connection transfers the precise position of the vehicle to the nearest metre together with other data relevant for the rescue services, such as risk of injury, number of passengers as well as model and colour of the vehicle.

These data are used to alert and inform the nearest emergency control centre without delay. As a result, the rescue services are additionally able to prepare the required medical care for those involved in the accident in advance. Assistance is also available from afar: when you are travelling abroad, you will be connected with the BMW Assist Call Centre of your home country. There you will receive bilingual support – both in your own language and that of the country where you are travelling.

You can of course trigger the emergency call manually as well. The precise position of your BMW is also transmitted at the press of a button. Help is swiftly dispatched – regardless of whether you or someone else needs it. Enjoy a feeling of safety – with BMW ConnectedDrive.
